Your weekly progress report from Fitbit

This first weekly stats email was part of their welcome series I’m sure, overcommunicating during the first week following registration of your device. Some days were better than others and this is a good dashboard of activity to make sure I’m on track towards whatever goals I set. Plus it pointed out that clearly I’m not wearing the Fitbit to sleep, which I guess I should in order to see how “well” I’m sleeping. Emails like this should all contain at least one suggestion: either a suggestion on how to better reach your goals, or how to use the device (when sleeping, for example), etc. This is a missed opportunity to instruct new users on proper use early in their relationship with the brand and product.
