While I appreciate the offer, this email needs a little bit of love in order to make it more impactful. Recommend making it more graphical and less text/HTML formatted. While image-heavy emails usually make me cringe, your birthday is one time for self-indulgence, and the email you get should help enable that.
Great reminder email a week out from promotional offer expiration. Even better if this email doesn’t got to those guests who have already redeemed…
Great email reveal for the new pizza announced on The Menu series show on TNT during National Pizza Month. Also a good sub-promotional reminder about the $10 off $40 currently available in my account. 10/15/14 10/6/14 10/1/14
A promotion for a good cause, definitely, but it could use a little more formatting love. In cases like this, where regionally-relevant emails are being sent out, there should be a standard template available for the agency to use that is a little more consistent with the standard campaign emails, only allowing for free-form text.
This is a fairly standard offer, but I like how CPK added a twist by giving the loyalty members extra incentive to buy gift cards this season: $5 in Pizza Dough Rewards plus a chance at an amazing vacation prize.
Great imagery and a good co-promotion for the Starlight Children’s Foundation. Video link is too subtle to be easily recognized as a call-to-action. Misspelling in the 4th instructional bullet (“or” or “on” Facebook?). Good social callout and suggestion on how to redeem or gift points. I like how the member card imagery usually finds a[…]
Good timely and topical email from California Pizza Kitchen. Good visuals, simple message. They are using a hybrid approach with mostly graphics just chopped up to fit inside an HTML shell. The only true text in the email is the “…not displaying” header and the “program overview” subnav bars.
Not much to this offer. As a guest, I would be disappointed that I got this email on the night before a promotion started (a Monday-Thursday deal) and I only had 3 days to take advantage of it. Would have rather seen this run through the following Thursday to at least give 7, not 3[…]
A good, clean email with great imagery. Messaging is a little too simplistic and might lead to some questions for their Call Center.
While I’m not a fan of the format of this particular email, it has a number of things working for it. First, new menu items presented in a pseudo-conversational way will likely resonate well with the local guests. And second, signing from the restaurant General Manager where I last ate (or where I signed up[…]
