Not sure that I would use “Kill the Fire Chief” in the subject line or body copy of this email, even if it’s referring to the keg. Plus, is the Fire Chief Ale on discount this weekend or what’s my incentive to help my local Rock Bottom finish this keg so they can replace it[…]
Second in the “I’m Diggin’ That” campaign theme: another educational email with no call-to-action. I wonder if this is in response to any competitive threat, either locally or nationally, which is challenging Rock Bottom’s craft beer authority…
A new campaign theme from Rock Bottom. Not sure I’m exactly “digging” it, but it’s a classic promise-benefit setup meant to educate the guest while promoting menu items. Great product image, might have added a line identifying what kind of pizza this is, even if it’s not referenced in the context of the message.
A fine promotion, but not sure how they are able to award double points for alcohol purchase…and ongoing issue with Rock Bottoms rewards program.
Double points on everything – beer, food, merch, etc.
Good looking visuals and cross promotion for beer…however this offer is so limiting! Only available on Saturdays (no end date) plus it’s only on the second appetizer so you’re not really appealing to those buying meals, just game watchers.
I have never liked their subject lines, “here’s what’s up at the Bottom,” just not very classy. But this headline was pretty bold, claiming to be the local craft beer authority. With events like playing cornhole with the brewer as well as tapping parties they can definitely make this claim, however, more credibly that other[…]
Wonder if Rock Bottom has a button on the point-of-sale system in the restaurant that is just for the wings/beer combination for this weekend only? Seems a little difficult to administer for such a short timeframe. With the double points, depending on when the guest receives/opens the email it may actually be late for the[…]
Not sure how they are able for one day during the week to pull off this promotion…where you bring in a printed code that the server then activates to determine what the voucher value is…At BJ’s Restaurant & Brewhouse we have done “Mystery Cards” which when activated act as a gift card with a pre-set[…]
A fairly simple email inviting guests (not sure if they did any qualification) to provide input on the future Rock Bottom burger program. Going through the survey they go into a good amount of depth about options, preferences, meat selections, etc., to try and hone in on the most popular options.
