Another simple, automated email from Southwest. I also like the icon bar promotion for travel partners at the bottom. Very clean and simple email.
I like the transparency of this automated email triggered by an action that changed my point balance. Even though this email is automated the member isn’t left wondering if action has been taken on their behalf.
For the most part Southwest did a good job softening the blow of this points redemption rate change. The tone of the email is still in keeping with the brand and the benefits of membership that haven’t changed are reinforced.
